Trade terms
Incoterms we offer.
We work to the term that fits your operation. All quotations state the Incoterm clearly. Where a term is not listed, discuss requirements at enquiry stage.
- EXW, Ex Works
- Risk and cost transfer to the buyer at our factory gate in Bhadohi. The buyer arranges all freight, export clearance and insurance from that point.
- FOB, Free on Board
- We load, clear export and deliver to the vessel at Nhava Sheva. Risk and freight transfer to you at the ship's rail. Standard for buyers with established freight relationships.
- CIF, Cost, Insurance & Freight
- We arrange ocean freight and insure the cargo to your nominated destination port. You handle import clearance and onward delivery from port.
- DDP, Delivered Duty Paid
- We manage the full journey including import duties, VAT and last-mile delivery to your warehouse. Available on selected lanes, request pricing at enquiry stage.
Packaging
Packed to protect, labelled to clear.
Each rug leaves our dispatch hall in the same condition it was inspected. Packaging is specified to the route, sea container, airfreight or courier.
Moisture-barrier wrap
Polythene inner wrap protects against humidity and condensation in sea containers.
Roll-on-tube
Pile-face-in on a cardboard or PVC core, preserves pile direction and prevents edge distortion.
Bale or boxed
Outer bale for standard freight; cardboard box with corner protection for premium or small-format pieces.
PO-level labelling
Each roll or bale labelled with your PO number, rug reference, dimensions and composition for easy goods-in scanning.

We attend the principal international contract and interiors fairs each year. Dates and stand details confirmed closer to each event.
Documentation
A complete document set with every shipment.
Import clearance should never stall because of missing paperwork. We prepare the full set as standard and add market-specific documents on specification.
