A hand-tufted rug is made by punching yarn through a backing cloth with a hand-held tufting tool, then finishing and backing it by hand. It is quicker to make than a hand-knotted rug, so it costs less, and it suits bold colour, ombre fades, animal prints and shaped outlines. Our 46 hand-tufted designs are made in imported high-end wool, with a wool and silk blend on a design with a sheen. Each comes in nine standard sizes from 2 x 3 ft to 12 x 15 ft, or a custom size priced to your dimensions. Made to order, with free shipping across India and worldwide.

How long does a hand-tufted rug last?
