There are 26 pieces across sofas and settees, chairs and stools, daybeds and benches, coffee tables, and side tables and nightstands, from ₹8,400 to ₹1,37,500. Cane brings lightness and air to a frame, and teak a warm, golden tone. Shipping is free to every address in India and to every country we deliver to. What woods are used in RS Living furniture?
Each piece is teak, teak with woven cane, sheesham or plywood, and its page states which. Most pieces combine teak and cane.
What is the difference between teak and sheesham?
Both are Indian hardwoods. Teak is oily, stable and resists moisture, with a warm golden-brown colour. Sheesham, also called Indian rosewood, is hard and heavy with a stronger, darker grain. We use teak for most pieces and sheesham for one folding chair.
Where can I find the dimensions?
Every furniture page lists the width, depth and height in centimetres. Each piece is made to order at that size.
How much does the furniture cost?
From ₹8,400 to ₹1,37,500, in Indian rupees. Shipping is free in India and where we deliver; import duties and taxes, where they apply, are paid to the carrier on delivery.
How do I care for cane furniture?
Dust cane with a soft brush, wipe it with a barely damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sun and away from heaters, which can dry it out.
