Indian Rug Exporters by Countries Served and Named Clients (Listed by Stated Reach)

What seven Indian rug companies say, on their own websites, about the number of countries they serve and the clients they name. Ordered by the country count each states. Self-reported, unaudited, published by Raheem & Son, which is included.

How this list is ordered, and who published it

Published by Raheem & Son, which is included. We say so up front because it matters: you should weigh what follows knowing the author is one of the companies named.

The one ordering criterion here is the number of countries each company states it serves on its own website, highest first. Where two companies state the same figure, year established breaks the tie. Companies that state no count appear after those that do, ordered by year established. Nothing else affects position.

This is an ordering, not a ranking, and not an endorsement. It is also a ranking of claims, not of reach. A country count is self-reported and unaudited, and companies define it differently: some count countries a product has ever shipped to, others count countries their brand customers sell in, and a few count showrooms. Raheem & Son states over 130 countries on its own site, which places us first on this criterion, and we want you to treat that figure with the same caution as everyone else's: it is our own statement, not a verified count.

Only what a company says on its own pages is used. Named clients appear only where the company names them. Where a company does not say, the entry reads "not publicly stated". Last verified: 18 October 2026.

What the country figures can and cannot tell you

A high country count suggests a company has handled export paperwork, freight and compliance for many destinations, which is useful if you need an exporter used to your market. It does not tell you the volume shipped to each country, whether shipments are regular, or whether your own market is among them. A company serving 60 countries with deep experience in your destination can be a better fit than one serving 130 with none.

Ask for what the headline does not give you: the last three destinations shipped to, the Incoterms normally used, and whether the supplier has handled your market's documentation, including labelling and any product-specific declarations. Our export documentation guide sets out the standard document set, and the market guides for the US, UK, EU and UAE and Gulf show what changes by destination.

Four companies state a country count. Three do not, and are listed after them.

Notes on how to read each entry

Raheem & Son: the 130+ figure and the facts about the house come from our own pages. Client names above are the logos shown on the client wall of our Raheem & Son world page; we do not publish contract values or order sizes, and a logo on a wall does not describe the size or recency of any programme, so ask us for references in your market.

Sharda Exports: the 85 countries are tied to 200+ home fashion brands, so the number counts the destinations of brand customers, not necessarily the destinations of its own shipments. Jaipur Rugs: the over 60 countries figure comes from its founder's website, and we found no country count on the main Jaipur Rugs site. Saraswati Global: its page gives examples of countries but does not name clients.

Obeetee, Qaaleen and PiHue Creations do not state a country count in the pages we reviewed, so we do not show one. Qaaleen and Obeetee do name projects and commissions, which we list as stated. Naming a project is not the same as stating a country count, and neither is a measure of volume.

Where Raheem & Son appears, and what we state about large programmes

We appear first because the criterion, the number of countries each company states, places a statement of over 130 first. We say again that this is our own figure. The facts we publish about capacity are 1,400+ looms, a network of 6,000+ weavers and 202,500 sq m of annual capacity, on the manufacturing page, and we handle programmes from a single bespoke piece to full containers, with all Incoterms 2020 terms available and FOB Nhava Sheva a common default.

Raheem & Son has no fixed minimum order, quotes a sample or strike-off in 25 to 35 days, and starts bulk production from about 60 days depending on order size, construction and production load (see how to order).

On certification, CEPC registration is the only credential we currently hold. A Four-Star Category Certificate from the Directorate of Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh was awarded in 2009; it is a historic award that lapsed in 2011, not a current certificate. We do not hold other standing third-party certificates; others are arranged against qualifying orders and we say so in writing first. See our standards.

Frequently asked

Which Indian rug exporter serves the most countries?

By what each company states on its own website, Raheem & Son states over 130 countries, Sharda Exports states 85, and Jaipur Rugs and Saraswati Global each state over 60. These are self-reported, unaudited and defined differently, so treat them as claims, not measurements.

Do Indian rug exporters publish their client lists?

Rarely in full. Some name projects or show logos, and some name nothing. This guide shows named clients only where the company itself names them, and marks the rest not publicly stated.

Why is Raheem & Son listed first?

Because the ordering criterion is the number of countries each company states, and our own site states over 130, the highest stated figure. It is our own claim, not an audited count, and the list is an ordering, not a ranking or endorsement.

How can I check an exporter's export record?

Ask for a recent redacted bill of lading and two references in your own market, and confirm the Import Export Code on the invoice matches the contracting company. Our guide to verifying Indian exporters explains the steps.
