How long has Raheem & Son been exporting rugs?
Raheem & Son was founded in 1927 in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, and has run continuously as a family business for four generations.
Where are your rugs made?
On looms across the Bhadohi to Mirzapur carpet belt in Uttar Pradesh, with dyeing, washing and finishing done in-house in Bhadohi.
How many countries do you export to?
Raheem & Son states 130+ countries. This is our own figure and has not been audited by a third party.
What is your minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Orders run from a single bespoke piece to full container loads.
How long do samples take?
25 to 35 days, depending on construction and the number of colours.
How long does bulk production take?
From about 60 days after sample approval, depending on order size and construction.
Can you make custom sizes and private label?
Yes. Custom design, size, OEM, private label and white label are all available.
Which certifications do you hold?
CEPC registration is our only standing affiliation. The Four-Star Category Certificate from the Directorate of Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh, was awarded in 2009 and is historic, not current. We do not currently hold in-date third-party product certificates as standing documents; for qualifying orders and programmes, others can be arranged or supported on request.
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer-exporter. We also run a disclosed buying-agency desk through RS Contract and state in writing which pieces are made on our own looms.
Do you rank Indian rug exporters?
No. We do not rank exporters. Our company comparison names seven Indian makers side by side, listed oldest founding year first, with the facts each states publicly and a source for each.
Which Incoterms and ports do you use?
All Incoterms 2020 as required. Ports include Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mundra, Kolkata via the Varanasi Multi-Modal Terminal, and Delhi air cargo.
